Tonight as I checked my Facebook page, I saw that a friend of mine that I have known for approximately 25 years had left a comment remembering the name I had given my Cabbage Patch doll, what seems like a "lifetime ago". I didn't even remember and had stated (to another friend) that I would ask my mom to see if she remembered, as she usually remembers that sort of thing.
Well seeing the name Sharif Antonio brought on a sort of reflective mood and this is what is now on my profile under the question: "What is on your mind?"
"life is so strange...most of the people in my life right now, I've known for over 20 years...some closer to 30! That, I will say is both a blessing and (vainly suggest) a show of my character, that so many would continue to be friends with me for so long! I have not always been who I am today but I'm so greatful that each of you hung around and stuck with me to this point! I love my friends and family..."
